We were fortunate enough to be part of an exciting community project involving Enviroschools from across Marlborough. Our Fairhall School Enviro Council participated in the Matariki Native Tree Planting at the Wither Hills Farm Park on Wednesday 22nd June 2022.
Here is what happened…
2 days 2000 native trees 13 schools 196 students 60 parents and teachers 12 organising volunteers 3 planting crew -1 C frost 1 awesome native ngahere planting project!!!
Thank you to the tamariki and parents who represented our school at this special event. An event that will have a lasting impact on our Marlborough community for generations to come.
